Dr Nicole Wainwright
Hi, I am Dr Nicole, one of the Dentists at Bosden Farm Dental Practice.
I have a keen interest in Cosmetic Dentistry. I want my patients to be confident about their smile, after all it is one of the first things people notice about you!
Many people don’t realise that modern dentistry has come such a long way. The materials, techniques and our technicians have advanced dental treatments and restorations, to the stage where everyone can benefit. It is now possible to have very natural looking fillings and not unsightly big black ones! It is possible to have gaps replaced with teeth so natural that no one will be able to tell which is the artificial tooth! It is even possible to have your teeth straightened in a discreet and gentle way (invisalign aligners), no more ‘train track’ wires!
So there are many ways in which your smile can be enhanced. This may involve teeth whitening, straightening, veneers, white fillings, crowns and addressing any gaps. When you see me, I will talk about what your smile improvements could be. We map out the plan together and step by step achieve your dream smile. It may not be as far away as you think!
New patients are often surprised at how stress-free their dental check has been, our existing patient of course already know this! It’s always a pleasure to catch-up with my patients as well as reassuring them about their dental health, we can discuss their cosmetic aspirations.
Come and see what we can do for your smile confidence and dental health!
Miss Claire Bailey
Treatment Coordinator/Operations Manager
Hi! I’m Claire. I have been a part of the Bosden Farm team since 2014, when Dr Hussain became owner of the Practice. I have been assisting Dr Hussain with the development of our practice. I am the operations manager and provide training to our dental nurses and ensure the efficient and safe delivery of care to our patients. This also involves paperwork and policies!
I have been working closely with Our Specialist Periodontist, Dr Khurrum Hussain, and we have become a centre for outside referrals from other practices in the area, when they require their patients to have Specialist Gum Disease Treatments. I am also now coordinating treatments in advanced Prosthetic (Implants, Bridges, Dentures), Cosmetic (Crowns, Veneers, White fillings) and Invisalign Orthodontic Treatments.
Dr Chris Lakin
Hi, I’m Dr Chris Lakin. I grew up in Lytham St. Annes. I graduated from Sheffield University in 2009. Early in my career I did some dental aid work in Tonga, which was very rewarding. I have worked in general practice for several years, starting in Teignmouth, South Devon, before moving back to the North West.
I have been at Bosden Farm Dental Practice for several years now and have a wonderful base of patients. I enjoys working with kids and have a particular interest in trying to save and restore teeth with root canal treatments. I am also an ‘Educational Supervisor’, for newly qualified Dentists, a role which I thoroughly enjoy. It allows me to help develop our newly qualified colleagues and also keeps me up to date with the latest advances in the profession.
I live locally with my family. I enjoy spending free time with the family, or trying to tame the garden, or playing golf or maybe even out in the peaks on my bike!
Hi I’m Natalie Abram. I qualified with a BSc in Oral Health Science from the University of Manchester.
I am the Dental Hygienist at Bosden Farm Dental Practice. I have a keen interest in oral hygiene, and am passionate about educating and helping patients to take the best possible care of their teeth and gums. I have even made some oral health education video clips, to demonstrate best techniques to our patients! Take a look!
I enjoy working with children, and anxious patients, to acclimatise them to being treated in a dental environment. Enabling patients feel more confident and less anxious, is very rewarding.
Outside of work I enjoy travelling, spending time with family and friends, or running!
Hi I’m Joanne. I am the practice manager at Bosden Farm Dental Practice. I have been a qualified dental nurse of many years and I love my chosen career. Over the years I have worked with many dentists, nurses, hygienists and helped to treat many lovely patients.
I am a very organised person and thrive on development and constant improvement. I like to keep the practice running efficiently and ensure that everyone is able to work at their best for our patients.
The huge amount of patient loyalty to the practice is a testament to the fact that our patients appreciate all our efforts!
Lead Dental Nurse
Hi, I’m Helen. I am the lead dental nurse at Bosden Farm Dental Practice.
I am an experienced dental nurse and I love to interact with our patients. It is very satisfying to be a part of such an enthusiastic and caring dental practice. We like to learn and develop, while also having fun! Our patients often tell us how relaxing their experience has been.
My latest task has been to develop our social media presence, allowing patients to get a ‘feel’ for our practice and to understand the ‘behind the scenes’ challenges. Many of our patients, loyal and new, have given us very positive feedback about how friendly, gentle and knowledgeable we are. When we present our services, team stories and patient cases on a social media platform, it informs and educates the greater community. This is very rewarding indeed, particularly when it helps anxious individuals to seek the dental care they need with us.
Check us out on facebook and instagram and see for yourself!
Hi, I am Georgia. I really enjoy dental nursing and am so pleased to have chosen it as my career. Every day is different and every patient is an opportunity to make some feel relaxed and positive about their visit to the dentist.
I like to make people feel at ease and have been told that my calm and soothing voice helps with this!
I am surrounded by a team who make my chosen profession feel less like ‘work’ and more like ‘helping friends’ do their best. I have even started to help with the social media posts about our practice, which can be great fun, but may also help someone find us and end their dental anxiety.
