Claire Bailey

Dental Nurse (periodontal)/ReceptionistGDC Number: 187635

My name is Claire and I qualified as a dental nurse in 2008 from Manchester Dental Hospital.

I enjoy nursing and even though I am very experienced, I find that I learn something new everyday!

I enjoy working with very nervous patients, and I also enjoy paediatric (Children’s) dentistry.

I work hard to provide a calming environment for our patients, and to provide the best care I can. As we all know no-one likes coming to the dentist, but I want to make it a pleasant experience for our patients.

I am currently completing a level 3 in leadership and management, and I have also completed my level 3 in safeguarding children.

If you have an appointment with one of our Specialists, you may see me in surgery, making your appointment flow seamlessly!

Outside of work I spend a lot of time looking after my 8 year old sister in law. I enjoy taking our little cocker spaniel “Annie” on long walks and exploring new places. I enjoy baking in my spare time, as do all my family members! I do eat my cakes straight after a meal, as a treat, so my teeth are decay free!

Mrs Rebecca Sherlock

Dental Nurse (Orthodontic)/ReceptionistGDC Number: 127307

Hi, my name is Becky. I have been working as a dental nurse since 2006 and joined the team at Bosden Farm in September 2014.

I qualified in 2006 and went on to complete an NVQ in Oral hygiene in 2012 and have a Level 3 NVQ in management.

My favourite part of working in a dental practice is meeting and getting to know the patients. It is nice to make nervous patients feel more at ease and help make coming to the dentist a good experience.

If you decide to have your teeth straightened with our Specialist, Claudia, then I will be there every step of the way with you! Feel free to ask me anything about braces, I currently am wearing them myself!

At home I have two young children Maisie and Joey who take up most of my time outside work!

I enjoy shopping and socialising with friends (when I get the time) and also like a spot of baking.

Miss Eleanor Walker

My name is Ellie and I am currently training to become a dental nurse. I work between Holly House and Bosden Farm Dental Practice.

I enjoy learning new skills and I’ve had plenty of help from the other nurses and dentists. Being a dental nurse isn’t as easy as it looks!

Outside of work I like to spend time with my friends and family, shopping and meeting new people.

Born in Italy, I speak fluent Italian, you can test me!

Grace Newton

Hi my name is Grace and I joined the team at Bosden Farm Dental Practice in 2016 as a receptionist. Having seen the team at work I decided to begin my training as a dental nurse and am currently completing my Diploma in Dental nursing at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester.

My favourite part of working in a dental practice is getting to know each patient and making them feel comfortable when they come to the dentist.

In my spare time I enjoy an active lifestyle and go to the gym regularly, I also enjoy skiing, horse riding and playing tennis on the weekends.
